OBIT CUTLER, LONNIE CROOK JANNEY

CUTLER, Lonnie Crook Janney, 96, of Roanoke, died Saturday, May, 1993, at her residence. She was preceded in death by a son, Harold Janney; a daughter, Thelma Stump; and also by three grandchildren. Surviving are a daughter, Jessie Mildred Newland, Roanoke; two sons and daughters-in-law, Gordon and Lucy Janney, Rocky Mount, N.C., Albert Jr. and Irene Janney, Roanoke; 18 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great grandchildren. A graveside service will be conducted 3 p.m. Monday, May 10, 1993 at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, with the Rev. James H. Steele officiating. The family will receive friends at Lotz Roanoke Chapel 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday.
