OBIT YOUNG, CARSON LESLIE

YOUNG, Carson Leslie, 75, of Charlotte, N.C., died Tuesday, May 4, 1993, in a local Roanoke hospital after a short illness. He was born April 10, 1918 in Charlottesville to the late Tyler Leslie and Lula Moyer Young. He was educated in the University of Virginia and retired from Union Carbide Corp. in the Industrial Relations Division. Mr. Young is survived by his wife, Anna Peterson Young, Roanoke; one beloved sister, Eloise Copps; and one beloved brother, Harvey Maupin, both of Charlottesville. Memorial services will be held Wednesday, may 12, 1993 at 11 a.m. at the Christ Episcopal Church in Blacksburg, with the Rev. Herbert G. Myers officiating. Interment will follow in the Westview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice. Arrangements by McCoy Funeral Home, Blacksburg.
