Julian designed the uniforms worn by the University of North Carolina Tar Heels when they won the NCAA championship last month.
And now the Charlotte Hornets, the first sports team to wear one of his creations, have moved into the second round of the NBA playoffs against the New York Knicks.
"I'm on a hot streak," the award-winning fashion designer said before a recent Hornets game.
Julian created the Hornets uniforms - teal with pinstripes and pleated shorts - before their inaugural season five years ago.
A North Carolina alumnus, he was asked by coach Dean Smith to redesign the Tar Heels' uniform before the 1991-92 season.
"Hopefully we've been able to destigmatize the idea of sports teams wearing designer clothes," Julian said.
Arnold Schwarzenegger's fans will be able to rock to the music of the muscleman's new movie, "The Last Action Hero."
AC-DC, Megadeth, Queensryche, Alice in Chains and Fishbone contributed to the soundtrack, which comes out June 8. The movie, about a young boy's fantasy adventure with a cop hero played by Schwarzenegger, debuts 10 days later.
Chad Everett does not have to submit a blood sample that a 20-year-old man insists will prove the actor is his father.
Twelve years ago, the former "Medical Center" star won a lawsuit alleging he is the father of Dale Andre Lee Everett, who was born to Sheila Scott, an extra on the TV series. The actor denied having sex with the woman.
On Tuesday, Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Raymond Cardenas denied a bid by the young man to obtain a blood sample for DNA analysis.
The 56-year-old actor played a doctor on "Medical Center."
