WATER GARDEN SEMINARS OFFERED

See a water garden developed in three stages at free seminars offered by Belle Aire Garden Shoppe Inc.

On Friday, learn how to select a site, excavate and install a pond. On May 21, find out how to select and install appropriate water plants and fish to create the necessary water-garden ecosystem.

The May 28 seminar will concentrate on landscaping around the pond.

Much of the information covered will also apply to installing big-tub or container gardens, said Belle Aire manager Meg Cook.

All seminars will be held from 6-7:30 p.m. at the garden shop located at 4119 Brandon Ave., Roanoke. Call 774-7444.
