GAY BAN DISCHARGE BILL IS INTRODUCED

U.S. Sen. John Warner introduced a bill Thursday to allow members of the military to seek honorable discharges if President Clinton decides to lift the ban on gays in the armed forces.

Warner's bill would allow service members to ask for a voluntary, honorable discharge if they object to lifting the ban on religious, moral or personal morale reasons.
