PHIFER, Marie R., 83, of Portsmouth, formerly of Roanoke, passed away Tuesday, May 11, 1993, in Portsmouth. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday, Hamlar-Curtis Chapel. Burial will be in Williams Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Sunday from 7 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. The procession will meet at the funeral home 10:30 a.m. Monday.
