JAZZ FEST IS GOING ON THE ROAD

It ain't going to be New Orleans, but for the first time Jazz Fest is hitting the road, stopping at Walnut Creek in Raleigh, N.C., July 11, and Strawberry Hill in Richmond, July 30.

Buckwheat Zydeco, The Radiators, the subdudes, and Cajun acoustic band Beausoleil (at Richmond), or "the Cajun Mick Jagger," Zachary Richard (in Raleigh) will be some of the acts to catch.

Tickets for Raleigh are $12.75 ($14.75 at the door). Call 919-831-6400 for more information. For Richmond, tickets will run $13.50 advance ($15.50 day of the show), going on sale near the end of the month. Call 804-463-1940.
