MATNEY, Sylvia Ann Warholm, 56, of 39 Sheppard Drive, Dublin, passed away
Sunday, May 16, 1993 in the Roanoke Memorial Hospital. Born February 7, 1937
in Daisy, Ken., she was the daughter of the late Isidor Warholm and Pearl
Charles Warholm. Surviving are her husband, Andrew Nelson Matney, Dublin;
daughter and son-in-law, Karen Annette Lane and Jessie Vance Lane Jr.,
Pulaski; son and daughter-in-law, Terry Nelson Matney and Kathie Simmons
Matney, Graysontown (Montgomery County); three grandchildren, Ginger Annette
Lane, Laura Elizabeth Matney, Mitchell Ryan Matney; four sisters, June Barth,
Silver Springs, Md., Nell Silber, Lanham, Md., Dorothy Waters, Falls Church,
Hilma Hale, Grundy; one brother, Allen Warholm, Bristol, Tenn.; father and
mother-in-law, Ritter and Audrey Matney, Oakwood. Funeral service will be held
Wednesday 11 a.m. from the Bower Funeral Chapel, Pulaski with the Rev. Preston
O. Sartelle Jr. officiating. Graveside service will follow at 3:30 p.m. from
the Russell Memorial Cemetery, Lebanon with Ronnie N. Matney officiating with
interment to follow. Visiting will be Tuesday evening from 7 to 9 at the Bower
Funeral Chapel, 1631 Bobwhite Blvd., Pulaski, Va. and the family will also
receive friends at this time. Bower Funeral Chapel, Pulaski is handling the
arrangements.
