IN SCHOOL

DEVON FISHER, son of Woodrow and Marilyn Fisher, has been named a Fisher Beta Scholar by the National Beta Club. Fisher, a senior at Cave Spring High School, will be awarded a $1,000 scholarship. He plans to attend Milligan (Tenn.) College.

His selection was based on grade point average, SAT/ACT scores, and active participation in Beta Club activities.
