FESTIVAL GALA

Seventeen area restaurants and caterers will provide cuisine for "An Evening Under the Stars at Monte Carlo,'' a black-tie gala benefiting Festival in the Park, on May 27 at Century Plaza in downtown Roanoke.

Entertainment will include the music of the Casablanca Orchestra and excerpts from "Search for Signs of Intelligent Life in the Universe'' at Mill Mountain's Theatre B.
