OBIT JONES, HAROLD DANIEL

JONES, Harold Daniel ("Dan"), 52, of Route 7, Rocky Mount, died Sunday, May 23, 1993, in the local hospital. He was born July 1, 1940, a son of the late H. Woodson and Dulcie Turner Jones. Surviving are two daughters and one son-in-law, Lorna Guilliams, Dana and Jerry Stump, all of Rocky Mount; one son, Kevin Jones, S.C.; four grandchildren; three brothers and two sisters-in-law, Melvin and Sue Jones, Rocky Mount, Alvin ("Casey") Jones, Richmond, Hilton and Vera Jones, Columbia, S.C.; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Helen and Oliver Hunt, Rocky Mount, Hattie LaPrade, N.C. Funeral services will be conducted at Flora Funeral Chapel, 2 p.m. Wednesday with the Rev. Johnny Thompson officiating. Interment will follow in the Jones Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Flora Funeral Service, 342 South Main St. Rocky Mount.
