OBIT MCCOY, HARRY C.
McCOY, Harry C., 86, of 1150 Monaco Drive, Mt. Pleasant, S.C., formerly of
309 Walnut Street, Princeton, W.Va., died Sunday, May 23, 1993, in a Mt.
Pleasant Hospital. Born at McCoy Virginia, he was the son of the late Thomas
D. and Neola Boyd McCoy. He was a retired employee for the Princeton Pepsi
Cola Bottling Company on Roger Street in Princeton, where he was a bookkeeper
for many years. He was a member of the B.P.O.E. Lodge # 1459, Princeton, and
had been a member of the Princeton A.F.&A.M. Lodge 134 for more than 55 years.
He was a charter member of the Centennial Christian Church at McCoy and
attended the First United Methodist Church in Princeton. Surviving are one
son, Tom McCoy of Mt. Pleasant, S.C., with whom he made his home; one
daughter, Ms. Sarah McCoy of Mt. Pleasant, S.C.; several grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held Wednesday, 11 a.m. at the Roselawn Memorial
Gardens on the Courthouse Road in Princeton. Those wishing to attend services
are asked to meet at the Memorial Funeral Directory on the Athens Road in
Princeton by 10:30 a.m. Wednesday
