HEED WISDOM OF A 15-YEAR-OLD

ARE POLITICIANS, government officials, the American Civil Liberties Union and people listening to what 15-year-old Crystal Blankenship of Elliston is saying in her letters Jan. 21 ("Schools need to teach morality") and June 5 ("ACLU leader sets bad example")? Her second letter opposes the stance taken by the ACLU on prayer in school and on other occasions.

If our national leaders had divine wisdom - as opposed to worldly - like Crystal, our nation would not have the problems it does. I've read the Bible through numerous times in the past 33 years, and find that God blesses nations and people when they put him first and do what pleases him. But when God is not given first place, he sends judgment. I don't believe God is pleased with the restrictions the Supreme Court has imposed on prayer and Bible reading. What's happening in many of our schools is evidence of this.
