OBIT GRIMM, MRS. STELLA MAE
GRIMM, Mrs. Stella Mae, 69, of 815 Greenwood Street, Bedford, passed away
on June 26, 1993, in Bedford County Memorial Hospital. She was born in Roanoke
County on May 19, 1924, a daughter of the late Elisha Orea Hensley and Maggie
Lee Davis Hensley. She was a member of Bible Center Chapel. She is survived by
her husband, Clyde A. Grimm; five daughters, Maggie B. McFaddin of Stuarts
Draft, Mary B. Minnick, Edith B. Overstreet, Nancy B. Eastridge and Phyllis B.
House, all of Bedford; two sons, Gene Brads and Vincent Brads, both of
Bedford; a stepson, Garland Grimm of Vesuvius; two stepdaughters, JoAnn Hewitt
of Waynesboro and Debbie Sinclair of Jacksonville, Fla.; six brothers, Grover
Hensley, Marshall Hensley, David Hensley, Ezekiel Hensley, John Hensley and
Leroy Hensley, all of Bedford; three sisters, Esther Burnette of Goode, Ruby
Draper and Frances Hensley, both of Bedford; nine grandchildren and one
great-grandson. Funeral services will be conducted at Updike Funeral Chapel,
Monday, June 28, 1993, at 2 p.m. by the Rev. Richard Dooley, with interment in
Holy Land USA Cemetery.
