OBIT-COLEMAN, WILLIAM MARK
COLEMAN, William Mark, 80, of 614 Thomas Road, Lynchburg, died Wednesday,
June 30, 1993, in Virginia Baptist Hospital. He was the husband of Zerylene
Hoover Coleman. Born in Roanoke County, he was the son of the late Samuel
Marcus Coleman and the late Fannie Welcher Coleman. He was retired from C.L.
Lewis Construction Company, a Navy veteran of World War II and was a member of
Memorial Christian Church, Lynchburg. In addition to his wife, he is survived
by one son and daughter-in-law, William M. Coleman Jr. and Ginny of Richmond;
one daughter and son-in-law, Sandra C. Reynolds and Wayne of Rustburg; four
grandchildren, Tim Reynolds of New Iberea, La., Jenny Reynolds of Baltimore,
Md., Kensie Coleman and Sarah Coleman, both of Richmond; three sisters,
Catherine Frith of Rocky Mount, Mary Overby and Betty Stump, both of Roanoke.
A graveside service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday, in Sherwood Memorial
Park in Salem by the Rev. Virgil Knipp. The family will receive friends from 7
to 8:30 p.m. today at Whitten Timberlake Chapel, Lynchburg. The family
requests memorials be made to Hospice of the Hills, c/o Virginia Baptist
Hospital, Lynchburg, VA, 24503, or the American Cancer Society.
