AS JULY 4 approaches and we gather to celebrate our nation's 217th birthday, let's think about and glorify all the diversity in this great nation.

America, more than any other country, stands for different religions, different ethnic and cultural backgrounds, various talents, strengths and proficiencies - diverse people living harmoniously together.

Americans today need to stand tall and be proud of these divergencies, and to look toward the 21st century with hands and hearts entwined, determined to be world leaders, and committed to our Constitution's words, "All men are created equal."
