TICKET SALES REPORTED GOOD FOR DUBLIN SHOW

Tickets have been selling well for the first of what is planned as an annual series of musical festivals Saturday, sponsored by Pulaski Main Street Inc.

Blood, Sweat & Tears with singer David Clayton Thomas, Clarence "Strokin' " Carter, The Impressions, Power Force, Face to Face and Don and the Deltones are the performers who are scheduled to start at 5 p.m. in the Kenneth J. Dobson Stadium at Pulaski County High School in Dublin.

A skydiving act led by Mike Vordo of Radford will open the festivities.

"This is the first time out," said Roscoe Cox, the director of the Pulaski Main Street program.

"I'm looking forward to listening to all that good music myself."

The gates will open at 3:30 p.m., and tickets there will be $20.

Advance tickets at $18 still can be bought Martin's Pharmacy in Pulaski, First Street Pharmacy in Radford, the Medicine Shoppe in Dublin, Hometown Pharmacy in Narrows and Pembroke, Books, Strings & Things in Blacksburg or any TicketMaster location.
