OBIT-STEVENS, LESTER FRANKLIN

STEVENS, Lester Franklin, 81, of Route 2, Rocky Mount, died Thursday, July 1, 1993, in a Roanoke hospital. He was an army veteran of World War II, and was a member of the Bethlehem United Methodist Church. Surviving are his wife, Mary W. Stevens; two daughters and sons-in-law, Ruth Ann and Michael Rosenshine, Elizabethtown, Pa., Cynthia and Jeffrey Willett, Virginia Beach; four grandchildren, Rebecca, Faith, Steven, and Janet Rosenshine. Funeral services will be conducted at Flora Funeral Chapel, 11 a.m. Saturday, with Rev. Herbert K. Seemann officiating. Interment will follow in Franklin Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Flora Funeral Service, 342 S. Main St., Rocky Mount.
