OBIT-HIGGINS, DARRYL MARTIN

HIGGINS, Darryl Martin, 55, of 405 Hickok Road, Lynchburg, died Friday, June 30, 1993. He was the husband of Caroll Light Higgins. Born in Grayson Co., he was the son of Mrs. Ola Andrews Higgins of Sparta, N.C. and the late Joe E. Higgins. Mr. Higgins was a salesman for Gretna Tire Co. and a member of Edward N. Eubank Masonic Lodge #262. In addition to his mother and wife, he is survived by a son, Darryl Mark Higgins and a daughter, Kimberly Lynn Higgins, both of Lynchburg; brother, Joseph D. Higgins, Martinsville; sister, Evelyn Fender, Sparta, S.C. Funeral service will be conducted Saturday, at 11 a.m. in Diuguid Waterlick Chapel, Pastor James H. Alley officiating. Burial will be in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Roanoke, at 2 p.m. Saturday. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 to 8 p.m. tonight. Memorials may be sent to Campbell County Rescue Squad or Lyn-Dan Heights Volunteer Fire Dept.
