The Virginia Water Supply Revolving Fund announced this week it has agreed to lend the county $130,000 to construct the line.
The interest-free loan's term is 30 years.
About 15 households will be able to access the new line, said Peter Huber, assistant county administrator.
Residents of the area have experienced problems with contaminated ground-water sources.
Huber said construction of the new line will begin this fall and should be completed in March 1994.
