YOUNG LIFE TOURNEY WINNERS

John Sutton and Bobby Clark won two-man best ball at the fifth annual Young Life Golf Tournament held recently at Blacksburg Country Club.

Low net two-man best ball went to the father-son team of Dan and Damon Thompson of Blacksburg.

Other major winners included Buddy Martin, Rich Ryan and Doug Martin. Close to two dozen others won prizes.

Around $4,000 was raised for the non-denominational Christian youth organization, which has clubs in Auburn, Blacksburg, Christiansburg and Giles high schools and at Blacksburg Middle School. The group hopes to organize a club in Radford in the fall.
