OBIT-FLINT, CLAUDE MONTAGUE
FLINT, Claude Montague, 78, of Buchanan, died Thursday, July 1, 1993. He
was a member of the Buchanan Baptist Church, and was a Navy veteran of World
War II. He is survived by his wife, Josephine Flint, Buchanan; two daughters
and sons-in-law, Virginia and John Powell of Waynesboro, Beaulah Mae and Tommy
Camper of Columbus, Ohio; one sister, Margaret Wilcoxon of Waterbury, Conn.;
two brothers, Lloyd Flint, Glasgow, and Bobby Earl Flint, California; five
grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Sunday,
July 4, 1993, 2 p.m. at the Rader Buchanan Chapel, with the Rev. Don McCaskill
and Rev. D. B. Martin officiating. Interment will follow in the Fairview
Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the
funeral home.
