HALE, Alma H., 72, of Hopewell, widow of Warren K. Hale, died July 1, 1993,
in John Randolph Hospital, following a brief illness. She was born in Roanoke,
was a retired secretary for the Troop Support Agency, Ft. Lee, Va.; and
resided in the Hopewell area since 1960. She was a member of the First United
Methodist Church, Hopewell. She is survived by her son, Thomas Blair Hale; two
granddaughters, Tamara Clyburn, and Pamela Daniels; two great granddaughters,
Lynsey and Kelsie Clyburn; a sister, Lillian Harrell. Funeral services will be
held Sunday at 2:30 p.m. in the Chapel of the Gould Funeral Home, Hopewell.
Following the service, the family will receive friends until 4 p.m. Graveside
services will be held Tuesday, at noon, July 6, in Blue Ridge Memorial
Gardens, Roanoke. Those wishing to make donations in lieu of flowers, may do
so to the First United Methodist Church Memorial Fund, Hopewell.
