NOT JUST A FIN WAS LOST

I CONTINUE to see letters about scuba fins and diving (June 30 letter by Robin Clough, "Loss of scuba fin won't sink diver"). Now it's time to let you know what was lost.

Ms. Wheat was my son's kindergarten teacher three years ago. She was so excited when she began her job and wanted so much to have a hand in molding these young minds. The parents, students and staff of Lincoln Terrace had the opportunity of knowing Ms. Wheat and watching her grow in her chosen profession. She was the type of person who took on everything she did with zeal.

The loss here is of a wonderful, young, energetic teacher who loved her students and had hope for their future. She will be sadly missed.
