Julie Daly and Mike Stevens were married May 15, 1993, in St.
Mary'sCatholic Church, with Father DonaldLemay officiating. The reception was
held at Donaldson Brown Center. The matron of honor was Jeannine Bowen, sister
of the bride. The bridesmaids were Kim Walker, Lisa Bayer, Beth Jaeckle,
Kristin Sullivan, Mert Platten, all friends of the bride, and Christa Austin,
sister of the groom. The best man was Ray Austin, brother of the groom. The
ushers were John Murphy, John Lucidi, DavidMitchell, David MacLaury,
LarryKraemer, Greg Coffey, all friends of the groom. Readings was by Jeremy
Bowen, brother-in-law of the bride. The bride's gown was shantung silk, off
the shoulder with sweetheart neckline and cathedral train, silk roses adorned
the shoulders and the full skirt at back. She carried abouquet of stargazer
lilies accented with white & pink roses, stephanotis andcascading Italian
ruscus. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Daly of Blacksburg. She
is a graduate ofBlacksburg High School and the University of Tennessee. She is
employed by Nordstrom. The groom is the son of Mr. Cathy Austin of Sterling,
Va. Hegraduated from Virginia Tech, and isemployed by Williams Miscellaneous
Metals. The newlyweds will live inFairfax, Va., after the wedding trip to
Dunns River, Jamaica.
