OBIT DUDLEY, COLONEL THOMAS D.
DUDLEY, Colonel Thomas D., 70, of Martinez, Ga., formerly of Roanoke, died
Friday, July 2, 1993. He was retired from the U. S. Army and a Veteran of
World War II, the Korean Conflict and the Vietnam Conflict. Survivors include,
his wife, Lydia G. Dudley of Martinez, Ga.; three sons, Lt. Col. retired
Thomas D. Dudley Jr. of Reston, Michael V. Dudley of Atlanta, Ga. and Ronald
E. Dudley of Suwanee, Ga.; three daughters, Vicki D. McNamara of Chadds Ford,
Pa., Della D. Bronstein of Clifton, Jennifer D. Butler of Evans, Ga.; two
brothers, Lt. Col. retired Robert E. Dudley of Huntsville, Ala. and Grover C.
Dudley of Miami, Fla.; two sisters, Ruby Parsell of Atlanta, Ga. and Becky
Jenrett of Blacksburg. Also surviving are nine grandchildren. Funeral services
will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, July 8, 1993, at Fort Myer Chapel, Arlington.
Burial will be in Arlington National Cemetery. The family will receive friends
at the residence. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's
Association of Augusta, 1899 Central Avenue, Augusta, Ga. 30904. Arrangements
are by Platt's Funeral Home, Evans, Ga.
