HILL, TRI-COUNTY DROPS GILES 8-4

Tri-County's B.W. Hill went 3-for-5 at the plate and got the win with three innings of relief as Post 145 beat Giles 8-4 Sunday in American Legion baseball at Virginia Tech's English Field.

Hill (2-0) struck out five and gave up two hits after taking over for starter Brad Leonard.

Tri-County rallied for six runs in the top of ninth inning, four with two outs. Giles helped with two errors and three walks.
