OBIT-RING, MARTIN FLEMING JR.

RING, Martin Fleming Jr., 70, of Knoll Ridge Road, Salem, passed away Saturday, July 3, 1993. He was a member of the United Methodist Church, was a retired former President of Roanoke City Mills, a Navy Veteran of World War II, and a member of Pleasants Lodge, #63 AFAM. He is survived by his wife, Juliet W. Ring; two sons, Martin F. Ring III of Columbia, S.C. and William T. Ring of Salem; one daughter, Sara Ring Boswell of Gilbert, S.C.; two granddaughters, Sara Ashley Ring of Salem and Lenna Fagile of Gilbert, S.C. Funeral services will be conducted from Oakey's North Chapel 1 p.m. Tuesday, July 6 with the Rev. Thomas C. Clay officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Burial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Fort Lewis Rescue Squad, Salem 24153. Friends may call Oakey's North Chapel where the family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday.
