OBIT-JOINER, BLANCHE E.

JOINER, Blanche E., 90, of Roanoke, died Saturday, July 3, 1993. Mrs. Joiner is survived by one son, James E. Marvin of North Carolina; four brothers, James Proffit of Floyd, Frank Proffit of Washington, D.C., Malley Proffit of North Carolina and Luther Proffit of Hardy; five sisters, Dealie Lantz and Margaret Jones, both of Roanoke, Frances Martin of Floyd, Marie Thomas of Salem and Helen Atkins of Elliston; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 6, 1993, at 10 a.m. at the Lotz Vinton Chapel with the Rev. Irvin W. Sloan officiating. Interment will be in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. Friends may call after 10 a.m. Monday at the Lotz Vinton Chapel.
