OBIT-MOSER, CHARLES VICTOR
MOSER, Charles Victor, 58, of Route 1, Vesuvius, died at his residence, 12
noon, Sunday, July 4, 1993. He was born in Maryville, Tenn., June 23, 1935, a
son of the late Clarence and Bonnie Moser. Mr. Moser was a member of Neriah
Baptist Church, served in the U. S. Marine Corps and retired as Captain,
Bureau of Fires in Richmond in 1979 with 20 years of service. Surviving are
his wife, Beverly Pigge Moser of Vesuvius; one daughter, Karen Bradley of
Buena Vista; two sons, Scott Moser of Ladysmith and Hal Moser of Richmond; two
sisters, Margaret Heaton and Sylvia Chance, both of Florida; one brother, Jim
Moser of Chester. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Tuesday, July 6 at
the Williams Funeral Service Chapel, Lexington with the Rev. Jill Crainshaw
officiating. Active pallbearers are Richard Rowe, Bobby Colman, Kenny Melton,
Stuart Melton, Coleman Bryant and Jessie Smith. Interment in Neriah Baptist
Church Cemetery follows. Family will receive friends one half hour prior to
the service at the Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be
made to the Hospice, P. O. Box 948, Lexington, Va. 24450.
