OBIT-DANKO, JULIA TOTRI

DANKO, Julia Totri, 87, of Bluefield, formerly of Pocahontas, died Saturday, July 3, 1993, in a Salem nursing home. Born in Pocahontas, she was a daughter of the late Stephen and Magdeline Bartus Totri. She was a member of St. Elizabeth Catholic Church, Pocahontas. She was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Joseph Danko, one son, three brothers and a sister. Survivors are a son, Stephen Michael Danko, Bluefield; daughters, Theresa Hall, Wayne, Mich., Louise Johnson, Roanoke; brother, Louie Kovach, Farmville; sister, Katherine Records, Rogers, Ark.; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Christian funeral mass will be conducted Tuesday, 11 a.m. at the St. Elizabeth Catholic Church, Pocahontas, with Father Dan Brady officiating. Interment will follow at the Woodlawn Mausoleum in Bluewell, W. Va. Christian wake service will be held Monday, 7:30 p.m. at the Rodriguez Funeral Home Chapel, Pocahontas. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday, at the funeral home. The family requests that memorial contributions be made to St. Elizabeth Catholic Church, Pocahontas, Va.
