OBIT-PHLEGAR, ELLEN FRANTZ

PHLEGAR, Ellen Frantz, 89, of Martinsville, formerly of Roanoke, passed away Saturday, July 3, 1993. She was the widow of Kyle Phlegar. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Katherine Speakman of Ridgeway and Mrs. Barbara E. Flinchum of Roanoke; one son, Calvin E. Phlegar of Rocky Mount; seven grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Erma Crotts of Salem. Funeral services will be conducted from Oakey's North Chapel 3 p.m. Tuesday, July 6 with the Rev. Darryl Crim officiating. Burial will be in the Frantz Family Cemetery. Friends may call Oakey's North Chapel where the family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday.
