CHOICE BETWEEN PARTIES IS CLEAR

MARK WARNER, the Virginia Democratic Party chairman, says Republicans are insensitive and intolerant. These code words identify a basic difference between Democrats and Republicans.

Liberals who control the Democratic Party want to censor references to God out of public schools and other public places. They say Republicans who oppose that censorship are "insensitive" and "intolerant." Really.

Democrats are extremely pro-abortion. Therefore, they label "insensitive" and "intolerant" those Republicans who support reasonable restrictions on abortion operations. Supporting parental notification before minors have abortions and opposing taxpayer funding of abortions are, for example, called insensitive and intolerant.

The Democratic Party is pro-homosexual. It wants to give them special legally protected status and to legalize their admission into our armed forces. According to Democrats, Republicans are insensitive and intolerant because Republicans oppose the Democrats' pro-homosexual agenda.

The code words Democrats use to attack Republicans expose important differences between the parties. Only a small minority of Americans agrees with the Democrats' left-wing definitions of "insensitive" and "intolerant." And only a small minority would agree that Democrats' positions are in America's mainstream. They are far-left extremists.

Warner is playing an important role by making us aware that we have a real choice. We can support the anti-Christian censorship, pro-abortion, pro-homosexual Democratic Party, or we can support the Republican Party that opposes these radical liberal agendas. The choice is clear.
