OBIT CUNDIFF, WILLIAM E.

CUNDIFF, William E., ("Eck"), 85, of Roanoke, died Tuesday, July 6, 1993, at his home. He was a member of Huntington Court United Methodist Church and retired from American Bridge Works. Mr. Cundiff was a past Master of Williamson Rd. Lodge #163 A.F.&A.M. and a past Worthy Patron of Williamson Rd. Chapter #119 O.E.S. Surviving are his wife of 61 years, Frances N. Cundiff; son and daughter-in-law, William Echols and Guadalupe Cundiff, Charlotte, N.C.; daughter and son-in-law, Patricia C. and Micheal L. Prillaman, Roanoke; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, O. Byron and Margaret Cundiff, Portsmouth. A Masonic graveside service will be conducted 10 a.m. Friday in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Oakey's North Chapel.
