OBIT PRICE, CARLOS BLAINE

PRICE, Carlos Blaine, 83, of Price's Fork, died Wednesday, July 7, 1993, at Montgomery Regional Hospital. Mr. Price was born in Montgomery County on November 11, 1909, to the late John Blaine and Bettie Snider Price. Surviving are his wife Etna T. Price; a daughter and son-in-law, Nita T. and Roy A. Hughes of Price's Fork; three stepdaughters, Joyce Stahl of Greencastle, Penn., Callie Gilley of Blacksburg, Sylvia McKay of Newport News; one stepson, Roscoe Turman of Blacksburg; four grandchildren, Renee H. McMahan, Carmela H. Smith, Charles E. Hughes, all of Blacksburg, Roy A. Hughes Jr. of Radford; three great-grandchildren, Andrew Hughes, Lacey McMahan, Landon Smith. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, July 9, at McCoy Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jacob Mayer officiating. Interment will follow in the Snider Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Funeral Home.
