OBIT KILGORE, LEOTA EMELINE
KILGORE, Leota Emeline, 92, of Staunton Street, Selma, died Wednesday, July
7, 1993, at the Alleghany Regional Hospital. She was born in Scott County,
Virginia, on July 16, 1900, daughter of the late John C. and Cordelia Ramey
Kilgore. She was a retired cook and dietician for the Lutheran Children's
Home, Salem, Va., and was of the Baptist faith. She is survived by one
daughter, Mrs. Nina Williams Thomas Rose, Selma, Va.; four grandchildren;
three great-grandchildren; four stepgreat-grandchildren; a number of nieces
and nephews. Graveside services will be Saturday 10 a.m. at Bethel Cemetery,
Botetourt County, with the Rev. John Parker and Mr. Kenneth Nicely
officiating. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 7 to 8 p.m.
at Nicely Funeral Home, Clifton Forge.
