IS IT A DATE, MIKE?

I HAD BEEN looking forward to seeing "Son-In-Law" for a long time, thanks to all the previews I've seen. I totally disagree with Mike Mayo's July 3 review ("This `In-Law' won't be around long"). I haven't laughed that hard at a comedy film for so long! Some of the scenes will be classics, and Pauly Shore was a riot. The whole theater full of people seemed to agree with me. Everybody - young and old alike - roared with laughter. I've recommended the movie to all my friends.

So, Mr. Movie Reviewer, I think you are wrong.

I do intend to see this film again. And, Mr. Mayo, I'll pay for your ticket to come along to show you how wrong you are. DIANNE S. WELCH ROANOKE
