OBIT HALL, S., ("BULL")
HALL, S., ("Bull"), 72, of Marion, died Thursday, July 8, 1993, in Smyth
County Community Hospital. Mr. Hall was a veteran of World War II, serving in
the United States Army, and was a survivor of Pearl Harbor. He is survived by
his wife, Betty J. Hall, Marion; one daughter, Tina L. Williams, Marion; one
son, Brent Hall, Raphine; three sisters, Ruth Dishner, Marion; Marjorie
Atkins, Atkins, and Cornelia (Snookie) Hudson, Glen Burnie, Md.; four
brothers, Robert L. Hall, Marion; Richard T. Hall, Radford, John T. Hall, West
Palm Beach, Fla.; and Charles W. Hall, Welch, W.Va.; one granddaughter, Emily
Hall, Logansport, Ind.; one grandson, Joshua Williams, Marion. Funeral
services will be held Sunday, July 11, 4 p.m., at Seaver-Brown Chapel, with
the Rev. Bryan Childress and the Rev. Michael Weller Weller officiating.
Burial will follow in Rose Lawn Cemetery, where military rites will be
conducted by Marion VFW Post #4667. The family will receive friends Saturday
evening from 7 to 9 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel. Seaver-Brown Funeral Service
is in charge of the arrangements.
