POLICE FIND NO CLUES IN SEARCH FOR WOMAN

Roanoke County police searched the countryside around Catawba Hospital on Thursday for a woman who disappeared two months ago, but their efforts produced no results.

Detective S. C. Sturgill said police didn't expect to find any new information that would lead to the whereabouts of Julie Sullivan, 27, who disappeared May 9.

Police believe Sullivan, who had a pass to wander around the grounds, simply walked away from the hospital, Sturgill said.
