Elizabeth A. Murray and Mark R. Johnson were married July 10, 1993 in Va.
Tech Memorial Chapel, (Catholic). The officiating clergyman was Father Jim
Cowles. The reception was held at Owens Banquet Hall. The maid of honor was
Cindy O'Steen. The matron of honor was LeiAn Knight. The bridesmaid
wasMichelle Brown. Flowergirl was Marie Walker, cousin of the bride. The best
man was Troy Heiner. The ushers were Kirk Johnson, brother of the groom, David
Johnson, brother of the groom, Matthew Murray, brother of the bride and
Nicholas Murray, brother of the bride. The bride's gown had a lace bodice
encrusted with rhinestones and pearls. The skirt was of floor length tulle.
She carried a cascading bouquet of white and light pink roses.
The bride is a daughter of Thomas and Margaret Murray of Radford, Va. She
is a graduate of Virginia Tech and is attending graduate school at George
Mason University working on a masters degree in Special Education. The
bridegroom, son of Dorothy Botie of Herndon and Albert Johnson of Alexandria,
is a graduate of Virginia Tech. He is employed by the U.S. Dept. of
Transportation. The newlyweds will live in Fairfax, Virginia after the wedding
trip to Dunns River, Jamaica.
