LOYD-SOVINE

Kristen Cory Sovine and Marvin Lynn Loyd, Jr., were married July 10, 1993, in Faith Alliance Church with Pastor David Fraser officiating. The reception was held at the church. The maid of honor was Kasey Sovine, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Christina Saunders, sister-in-law, and Brenda Drinkwine, friend. Flowergirl was Andrea Lackey, friend. The best man was Marvin Loyd, Sr., father of the groom. Ushers were Brian Pulliam, friend, Matt Saunders, brother-in-law, Joey Sovine, brother-in-law. Ringbearer was Shawn Butto, cousin. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gary D. Sovine of Salem. She graduated from Salem High School and attended Virginia Western. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Marvin L. Loyd, Sr., of Salem. He graduated from Glenvar High School. He is employed by the United States Marine Corp. The newlyweds will live in Kings Bay, Georgia.
