MAXWELL-POFF

Christy Lynn Poff and Marty Leon Maxwell were married June 19, 1993, in Trinity Baptist Church, with the Rev. Robert E. Crawford officiating. Thereception was held at the Fellowship Hall at Trinity Baptist Church. The maid of honor was Michelle Huff, friend of the bride. The matron of honor was Martha Dear, the bride's aunt. The bridesmaids were Sonya Moore, friend of the bride; and April Toler, the groom's sister.Flowergirls were Hayley Maxwell, sister of the groom; and Jessica Wood, the groom's cousin. The best men wereGilbert L. Maxwell, father of the groom; and Larry S. Toler, the groom'sstepfather. The ushers were EdwardMaxwell, and Randall Maxwell, the groom's uncles. Ringbearers were Justin and Michael Maxwell, cousins of the groom. The guestbook was attended by Stacey Denton. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas M. Poff ofChristiansburg. She is a graduate ofGateway Christian Academy and attends Virginia Tech. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert L. Maxwell of Christiansburg; and Mr. and Mrs. Larry S. Toler of Rocky Gap. He is a graduate ofChristiansburg High School, and isemployed by L&V Trucking in Rocky Gap. The newlyweds are living in Pearisburg, after their wedding trip to Garden City Beach, S.C.
