Kimberly Ann Byrne and MichaelConway Whitt were married May 22, 1993, in
Wytheville Presbyterian Church, Wytheville, Va., with the Rev. Dr. Michael
Wingard officiating. The reception was held at Ramada Inn, Wytheville.
Thematron of honor was Kathleen Bryan of Jacksonville, Florida, sister of the
bride. The bridesmaids were Melanie Hostetter of Newbern, Va., and Yukari Maru
of Tokyo, Japan, both friends of the bride. Flowergirl was Megan Bryant
ofJacksonville, Florida, niece of the bride. The best man was John Whitt, Jr.
ofSutherland, Va., brother of the groom. The ushers were Donald Byrne, Jr. of
Mechanicsville, Va., brother of the bride; and Dave Chastian of Richmond, Va.,
friend of the groom. Ringbearers were Jacob Stump and J.C. Whitt, nephews of
the groom, of Sutherland, Va. The candlelighters were Donald Byrne and Dave
Chastian. The bride's gown was white bridal satin designed with beaded
Schiffli lace. The soft Sabrina neckline and long Gibson sleeves enhances a
fitted basque bodice and keyhole back embellished with pearl strands. It's
full flowing skirt was accented by a gentle bow over beaded cutouts in the
cathedral train. She carried a cascading bouquet of amethyst, lilac and white
roses. The bride is the daughter of Donald and Patricia Byrne of Wytheville.
She is a graduate of Pulaski High School and Radford City School of Practical
Nursing. She is employed by The Meadows Nursing Center, Goochland, Va. The
groom is the son of John and Jane Whitt, Sr., of Disputana, Va. He is
agraduate of Hopewell High school and Richard Bland Community College. He is
employed by Henrico Sheriff's Department. The newlyweds will live inRichmond,
after their wedding trip toDisney World, Orlando, Florida.
