OBIT-STRATTON, ROBERT S. ("BOB")

STRATTON, Robert S. ("Bob"), 54, of Roanoke, died Saturday, July 10, 1993. He was a graduate of V.C.U., employed by Allstate for 23 years, and was a retired president of PMI Services, Inc. Mr. Stratton was a member of the Hunting Hills Country Club and on the Board of Directors of Junior Achievement. Surviving are his wife, Patricia K. Stratton; sons, Robert S. Stratton Jr. of Roanoke, William K. Stratton of Blacksburg; sister, Mrs. Phyllis Hollins of Richmond. Funeral services will be conducted from Oakey's Roanoke Chapel 10 a.m. Monday, July 12, 1993, with the Rev. Charles Ward and the Rev. Tom O'Dell officiating. Interment will follow at Sunny Slope Cemetery, West Point, 4 p.m. Monday, with Dr. Norman West officiating. The family suggests memorials be made to the American Cancer Society or the Virginia Baptist Children's Home and Family Services in Salem. Friends may call at Oakey's Roanoke Chapel.
