CAVE SPRING WINS LITTLE LEAGUE TITLE

Cave Spring American League won the District 12 Little League championship for 10-11 year olds by defeating Clifton Forge 18-12 on Tuesday at Oak Grove field.

Adam Mann pitched the last two innings for the win as Cave Spring scored eight runs in the top of the sixth inning, the last inning played. Kevin Griffith hit a solo home run for the winners. - Staff report
