FACULTY CHANGES ANNOUNCED IN WYTHE

The Wythe County School Board named Russell Kelly Wednesday to replace Quentin Hensley as Rural Retreat High School head basketball coach.

Kelly was an assistant boys' basketball coach at the school last season. He also has coached football at Rural Retreat and Fort Chiswell high schools.

The board also named Starr Bivens as assistant principal at Spiller Primary School. She previously was head teacher at Jackson Memorial Elementary School. - Southwest bureau
