NEW RIVER ARTS COUNCIL MEETING

The New River Arts Council annual member meeting is scheduled for July 26 in the New River Valley Mall meeting room at 7:30 p.m. A reception for candidates for the board of directors will be held there at 7 p.m.

The meeting will cover elections of new officers and a presentation of the proposed Community Arts Center in Blacksburg. The public is encouraged to attend.

Candidates for officers include Bob Abraham, Revonda Breeding, Barbara Capps, Jamie Graybeal, Cheryl Leweke, Donita Moore, Judy Schneck and Ed Schwartz of Christiansburg; Kelly Page Clark, Linda Garrow, Keitha Lucas and Darcy Meeker of Blacksburg; Mary Goodwin of Pulaski; and Jean Johnson of Narrows.
