NAVY SEAMAN RECRUIT MICHAEL A. MILLER, son of Johnny R. and Ruth Ann Miller of 3530 Yellow Mountain Road, has participated aboard the aircraft carrier USS America, stationed in Norfolk, in "Ocean Venture 93," an Army, Navy, Marine Corps, Air Force and Coast Guard training exercise.

\ MARINE PVT. CHRISTOPHER L. SNYDER, son of Barry L. and Debbie E. Snyder of Roanoke, completed basic training at Parris Island, S.C.

Snyder is a 1992 graduate of William Fleming High School.

\ NAVY PETTY OFFICER 2ND CLASS JOHN L. DALTON, son of Kelly E. and John L. Dalton Jr. of 3023 Pebble Drive, has participated aboard the aircraft carrier USS America, stationed in Norfolk, in "Ocean Venture 93," an Army, Navy, Marine Corps, Air Force and Coast Guard training exercise.
