OBIT CHAPPELL, ANNIE L.

CHAPPELL, Annie L., 80, of Roanoke, died Thursday, July 15, 1993, in a local nursing home. She is survived by two daughters, Carolyn O'Shaughnessy, Roanoke, Jackolyn Cockerham, N.C.; two sons, Larry Chappell, Roanoke; Chris Chappell, N.C.; 12 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren. Memorial service will be held at Penn Forest Weslyn Church at 2 p.m. Sunday, with the Rev. Greg Reynolds officiating. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday at Oakey's South Chapel. Flowers will be accepted or in lieu of flowers, the family suggest contributions be made to the American Cancer Society.
