OBIT PATTERSON, CLARENCE MOLTON

PATTERSON, Clarence Molton, 90, of Bedford, passed away Thursday, July 15, 1993, in the Bedford County Memorial Hospital. He was born November 12, 1902, in Bedford County, a son of the late Orie Patterson and Nannie Turner Patterson. He was a retired employee of Piedmont Label and was a retired farmer. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Nancy Clay Patterson. He is survived by his wife, Dora Watson Patterson; a niece, Mrs. Riley (Vernelle) Saunders, Bedford. Funeral services will be conducted Monday, July 19, 1993 at 2 p.m. from the Updike Funeral Chapel, Bedford, by the Rev. Michael DuVal and the Rev. Johnson Gupton. Interment will follow in the Greenwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday from 3 to 5pm at Updike Funeral Home, Bedford.
